If you have tax discs to sell, we provide two methods for doing so.

1. Subscribers to Collecticus magazine have the opportunity to list their tax discs for sale in the magazine.

The procedure couldn't be simpler:

Post your items to us (via Recorded or Special Delivery), together with your name, address, and a reserve price for each item. There is a non-refundable entry fee of £4 + VAT per item. NOTE: Each tax disc is considered to be a separate lot and a listing fee must be paid for each. It is not possible to group items for sale.

Once we receive your items, we scan them and send you acknowledgement of your instruction. We then enter the items in the special subscriber auction of the relevant section of the Collecticus magazine and publish it in the next available issue.

Upon successful sale, the buyer pays the hammer price plus 10% buyer's premium. The seller receives the hammer price less 15% commission.

We then post the sold items to the buyers via Recorded Delivery.

In the event of the items failing to meet your reserve price, we will return the items to you via Recorded Delivery.

NOTE: The commission structure includes VAT and all of our postage and administration costs.

Tax discs listed by this method will also appear on the Collecticus website.

2. If you have any expired tax discs dating from 1921 - 1979, we will be interested in buying them. Send the discs to us at the following address and we will send you a cheque. If you are not happy with the payment, simply return our cheque and we will return your discs.

Send your discs, along with your name and address, to:
